ABOUT FRICKOLOGY
It saddens me (the creator of this site) how in modern American Christianity, we have given a negative stigma to this word: doctrine. It's often associated with words such as "religion", "theology", and "Pharisee", which all have very negative stigmas attached to them. If you look in the Merriam Webster dictionary (the words "doctrine" and "theology" specifically). you will see that these two things are not bad. They are actually good. They become bad if you neglect your relationship with God, but they are still good things. Even the pastor that believes these negative stigmas and preaches against "doctrine" and "theology" has a doctrine and theological perspective they're teaching from. The heart of this website is to analyze these doctrines that are being taught through a Biblical perspective and from there determining whether the doctrine is good, bad, or a downright heresy. We will also look at teachers, analyze what they teach, and make the same conclusions as good, bad, or heretics.

The website here is named "Frickology" simply because this is a passion project of theology and (to those who know me at home) one of the words I most commonly use is "frick". So you just combine the two and you get "Frickology".
